They create the processes and systems that drive technology and industry. The discipline is closely associated with automobile, aeronautical and aerospace engineering. Mechanical Engineering Department of Meghand Saha Institute of Technology is one of the most sought after streams of the institute. It started functioning from the year 2012 with a sanctioned intake of 60 students in every year. The Department is fully equipped to meet the requirements of B.Tech course as per curriculum of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal.
