      Light Weight Mesh Reinforced Concrete Block prepared by Apala Majumder, Aritra Lodh and Arijit Adak, under the guidance of Soumya Roy obtained 1st prize in Innovation Challenge IIEST Shibpur and 2nd prize in Innovate 2017. The product also obtained patent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Leak and Heat Proof Blocks prepared by Arghyakamal Bhattacharya, Souvik Senapati, Kamalika Ghosh under the guidance of Soumya Roy obtained 1st prize in Ideate 2017. The product also obtained patent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2016 – 17<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Dr. Biswajit Thakur delivered lecture as a resource person on \u201cSoftware Simulation Techniques\u201d in the three week (2nd-22nd January, 2017) refresher course on \u201cBuilt Environment and Sustainable Technologies\u201d organized by Department of Architecture, Jadavpur University, on 18th January, 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Arindam Roy, Bijoysakha Ghosh and Shubhaodeep Neogi obtained 1st prize in the event SURVOLAIRE in annual techfest of Netaji Subhas Engineering College, 2016 under the guidance of Sanjoy DasNeogi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Arghykamal Bhattacharya, Abhishek Gupta and Bijoysakha Ghosh obtained 2nd prize in ARARMUS(Township Planning) at PARIDHI 2016 under the guidance of Sanjoy DasNeogi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Apala Majumder, Aritra Lodh and Arijit Adak obtained 2nd prize in INNOVATE 2017, MSIT and SCINTILLATIONS 2017 , IIEST Shibpur under the guidance of Shoummo Roy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Arghykamal Bhattacharya, Souvik Senapati and Kamalika Ghosh obtained 1st prize in IDEATE 2017 under the guidance of Shoummo Roy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Dr. Biswajit Thakur delivered lecture as an invited guest on \u201cEnergy Efficiency in Buildings: Passive Controls\u201d in the Celebration Program of World Environment Day organized by Department of Environmental Science, Asutosh College, on 9th June, 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Aritra Bhattacharya obtained 1st prize in Bridge-O-Mania (Bridge Making) at SAVENIR 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Arghykamal Bhattacharya, Souvik Senapati and Rameez Farhan Adil obtained 3rd prize in bridge making in Paridhi 2015 under the guidance of Sanjoy DasNeogi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Abhisek Gupta, Ashmita Ghosh and Anish Hazra obtained 2nd prize in bridge making in NSEC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
